Goodbye U.A.C.

I don't think it's any secret that I can be horrifyingly nostalgic and sentimental.

Usually I write some long, memory-filled post about all the wonderful things I learned in that place. I say goodbye to the things and people I love, and I talk about how things have changed. It's sappy and horrible.

Well this time, I'm all packed up to leave U.A.C., and I don't actually care. Sure, there are people that I'll miss, but I'm moving around the corner ... so I'm pretty sure I'll see them next week.

Do you know what I will not miss?

-How dark the kitchen is all the time.

-My roommates.

-Wedding stuff(not my wedding stuff, obviously) taking over the apartment.

-My satanic landlord.

-How funky the garbage disposal always smells.

-Walking 5 miles to take out the trash.

-The faulty drain in my shower.

-Trying to turn left on University Ave.

My indifference probably also has something to do with the fact that I'm not particularly excited about the apartment I'm moving in to. That's what random roommates will do to you.

So good riddance to U.A.C.
