The 4th | 2013

This year I celebrated America's birthday with Dad and Em. Like usual we ate really good food, went to the movie theater, and sang our little hearts out to Kelly Clarkson. 

The Stadium of Fiyaaaaaaaah! 

So I have this wish, and it's to see really famous songs sung live. Which I guess is a wish that most concert goers have, but this is a little more specific. I want to see the songs that made people famous sung live. At the Stadium of Fire, I killed two birds with one stone. We heard Carly Rae Jeppson's "Call Me Maybe," and best of all, we heard Kelly Clarkson's "Since You Been Gone." That song is just good. So maybe we took two really crappy videos to document this momentous occasion. I dare you not to sing along.

Adeus Irmã Azevedo

A month ago I got to drop my second little missionary off at the MTC, but not before a massive mason jar full of Dr. Pepper from Station 22. Sister Azevedo leaves for Portugal this week! You can read her seriously hilarious emails here.

Newport Beach, CA | 2013

We went Newport about a million weeks ago, but I am just now getting around to telling you about it. I wish I could say I've been really busy doing important things, but I'm actually just trying really hard to be tan.

Anyway, Mom, Dad, Ally, and I stayed in Newport for a week, and had a grand ole' time. We pretended to exercise, ate avocado omelets, I spilled on myself at Ruby's pretty regularly, and we just had fun. It had been a few years since I had been able to go to NB with the fam, so this year was extra fun for me.

Ally had the best time at the Angels game.

It actually smelled really bad over by our seats, and the Angels didn't win.

Sunday, we went to church across the street from this pretty place.

And right before we left we got to see Whitney, Cardon, and Harper(she's so sassy, I love it!)

Hopefully next year I'll still be unemployed so I can continue to mooch of my parents and their super fun vacations. *fingers crossed*

Today we dropped this cool Sister off at the MTC, aka Rain Tree. But not before a J Dawgs send off. She's going to rock Brazil. One roommate down, one to go!
